Ride Free on MTD this Earth Day
All day on Earth Day, Sunday, April 20, every Santa Barbara Metropolitan (MTD) bus and electric shuttle was FREE -- from any location, to any location.

Make Every Day Earth Day
Cars are a major source of greenhouse gases contributing to global warming, also known as global climate change. Take a vacation from your car and do your part for the planet on Earth Day!

We invite you to view our PSA promoting alternative transportation on Earth Day - and every day.

The initiative is supported by MTD, the Community Environmental Council, the Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District, the Santa Barbara Car Free Project, SBCAG/Traffic Solutions, the City of Santa Barbara, and UCSB Bren School.

For information on taking the bus for free to Earth Day, visit www.SantaBarbaraCarFree.org
