The Jane and Robert O. Easton Award for Environmental Achievement is presented each year by Community Environmental Council to one or more individuals who have demonstrated a passion for the protection and preservation of natural resources through their work.

This year, CEC is proud to present the Easton Award to Dennis Allen and Allen Associates. Dennis Allen has built a solid green building practice in the tri-county region whose work reflects the best qualities of our community - beauty, nature, and a foundation in environmental principals. Allen Associates' commitment to creating healthy and energy-efficient homes and commercial buildings particularly resonates with CEC, as we challenge our region to quickly move away from fossil fuels by investing in safer, saner, healthier forms of energy.
